- MacArthur Fellows – Unrestricted fellowships; Indigenous artists selected in the past. (not a program to apply to, but influential recognition).
- National Folk Festival (NCTA) – Showcases folk/traditional arts including Native artists.
- NEST Guild & Makers United – Global network for handcraft businesses; access to on-demand learning resources, training workshops, personalized mentorship, financial readiness and capital access programs.
- Santa Fe Art Institute – Thematic residencies including Indigenous cohorts, fellowships, events, open calls, rental spaces.
- s’gʷi gʷi ʔ altxʷ: House of Welcome on The Evergreen State College Olympia (Tacoma, WA) – Public service center, built in collaboration with Northwest Tribes; Indigenous Arts Campus, resources for Native artists, Native Creative Development Program; Northwest Heritage Program; Supporting Indigenous Arts Mastery (SIAM) grant program.
- Smithsonian Folklife Festival – Annual National Mall festival featuring Native artists/culture bearers.
- Tamarind Institute | The University of New Mexico College of Fine Arts – Collaborative print residencies/editions with Indigenous artists.
- Ucross Foundation – Dedicated fellowship supporting the work of contemporary Native visual artists, writers, and performers; Call for applications for Fall 2026 (August through early December) is open from November 1 to January 15; No application fees.
- Vermont Studio Center (VSC) – Fellowships, residencies, visiting artist & writer program; Indigenous artists among awardees.
