  • National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) – Direct project support, general operations, cultural projects, master artist/apprentice programs, and arts education initiatives.
  • National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) – Tribal cultural programs, funding for language documentation and revitalization, oral history projects, and museum preservation efforts related to Native culture.
  • State Arts Agencies (SAA) / State Arts Councils – Many offer grants for Individual Artists, support for Master/Apprentice relationships in traditional arts, and funding for cultural organizations; search for “Your State Name” + “Arts Council Grants.”
