- Indigenous Roots Cultural Arts Center McKnight Artist & Culture Bearer Fellowships – Annually supporting three culture bearers dedicated to preserving sacred and healing traditions and passing cultural arts across generations; $25,000 unrestricted award, Minnesota residents only.
- Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) Low-Residency MFA in Studio Arts – Interdisciplinary program centered on the production of Indigenous arts; two-year, low-residency grounded in Indigenous cultural perspectives.
- IAIA Research Center for Contemporary Native Arts – Scholarship, discourse, and interpretation of contemporary Native art; Access to the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) collection, and the IAIA Archival holdings documenting the activities of significant Native American artists and arts advocates.
- School for Advanced Research (SAR) Indian Arts Research Center (IARC) Native Artist Fellows – Three non-residential fellowships to support the creative development of both established and emerging Native American artists; applications accepted through January 15 annually.
