Strategic Plan

To build a sustainable bond between tribal cultural institutions and future programs, a Strategic Planning Team is guiding the formation of the Association of Tribal Archives, Libraries, and Museums. Under consideration is the formation of a national membership organization that will reinforce validity, provide a base of volunteer and financial support, increase political influence, oversee the development of quality programs and services, and provide a point of contact for individuals and organizations seeking information or partnership opportunities. You may view the Feasibility Survey report that is informing the development of the membership organization and view the report from the Planning Team’s first meeting. The Team is putting together a draft Strategic Plan that will be distributed for further input from ATALM stakeholders.
